China Cummins expand production capacity, the new assembly line is off

Recently, Cummins Power Generation (China) Co., Ltd.(CPG) of small and medium horsepower line first unit line-off ceremony was held in Wuhan factory, vice president of Power Systems Operations Division, Mr Iain M Barrowman and power systems business division GM( China) Mr. Shi,  cutting ribbon for the new production line on the ceremony.

This assembly line is a large-scale investment for production line since Cummins Wuhan factory  built in 2009, the main production is 15L displacement below units, is expected to add an annual output of 1,000 units. It follow the Cummins’ globle unified design and configured with EASE system, Andon systems and safety PLC system that uses plate chain structure.

In recent years, with the continuous expansion of China's business, Cummins power diesel generating units ranked top of China's market. As the only Cummins diesel generator assembly factory in China, Wuhan factory undertake a large number of orders. Meanwhile, with the implementation of Cummins globalization and China "one belt one road" strategy, Wuhan factory production will also globaly export.

Cummins Power Generation (China) Co., Ltd. is located in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, the factory area of 20,000 square meters, workshop area of 9450 square meters.  The factory produce 8,300 open type generators and automatic transfer switch capacity of 20,000 yearly.
